Nature-based solutions in rural landscapes
Right after the third ReNature training course, there will come the fourth - this time on the topic nature-based solutions in rural landscapes. It will take place on the 24 and 25 February 2020 in Malta, kindly hosted by the Malta College of Arts, Science & Technology (MCAST).
What are the nature-based solutions in rural landscapes? Which ones are suitable for the Mediterranean region? What benefits do they bring? These are some of the questions that this training will answer, providing participants with an understanding of the state of the art knowledge. The training will also be an opportunity for capacity-building and networking among scientists, practitioners and students.
With the ultimate goal to position Malta as a regional leader in Southern Europe and the Mediterranean region for nature-based innovation, this ReNature training will address specific societal challenges in rural areas of Malta.
More information, including a detailed agenda is available here.
This training is part of a series of capacity-building activities, organized by ReNature. A total of five cross-cutting training courses and two summer schools will take place until the end of the project.
